# Gas Pumps

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/9MqZ0BvvQgI>" %}

A complete fuel system for FiveM. Take the nozzle off the pump, walk it round the car on its hose and put it in the filler yourself. Then use a NoPixel V style screen built right into the pump to choose your fuel, your amount and how you pay, and watch it go in litre by litre. You only ever pay for what actually goes in. Just remember to turn the engine off first. Give your players gas stations that feel like real ones, on every pump in the city.

Created by Fantasy Scripts.

#### Features

* **Design** — A clean pump screen in the same style as the rest of our interface, with the keypad, buttons and stickers of a real pump around it.
* **The Screen Is On The Pump** — The screen is painted on the pump itself, not shown as a menu on top of the game. Every pump at every station has one, on both sides.
* **Everybody Sees It** — Players walking past see every pump's screen, and a pump somebody is filling from shows FUELING IN PROGRESS to everyone.
* **Smooth Close-Up** — Press E at the pump and the camera moves up to its screen. Click its buttons with your mouse; Escape steps back without stopping the fuel.
* **Take The Nozzle** — Pick the nozzle up off the pump. It stays in your hand, with the hose running back to the pump.
* **Put It In Yourself** — Walk round the car and attach the nozzle to its own filler.
* **Hose Reach** — Walk too far from the pump and the nozzle goes back on it. Drive off with it still in the car and the hose snaps.
* **Turn Your Engine Off** — Fill up with the engine running and you are warned. Leave it running and the car catches fire.
* **Fuel Grades** — Regular, Mid Grade, Premium and Diesel out of the box, each with its own price. Add, change or remove grades as you like, and keep some to certain vehicles only.
* **Picks The Right Fuel** — The pump chooses the usual fuel for the vehicle by itself: premium for super cars, diesel for trucks.
* **Choose Your Amount** — 10 L, 20 L or FULL with one press, more or less a litre at a time, or type the exact amount on the keypad.
* **Cash Or Card** — Pay from the pocket or the bank. Turn either one off if you only want the other.
* **Pay For What You Get** — The money is held when you pay, like a real pump does with your card. When the fuel stops, you pay only for what went in and the rest comes straight back.
* **Filling In Progress** — A bar that fills block by block, with the litres counting up underneath, and the tank filling as it goes.
* **Stop Any Time** — Press STOP FUELING, take the nozzle out, or walk away, and you are charged only for what went in.
* **Money Never Lost** — Leave the server mid-fill, or have the server stop, and any money owed is waiting for you the next time you join.
* **Every Vehicle** — Cars, bikes, trucks, boats and aircraft, each with its own tank size by type, and any model can have its own.
* **Electric Vehicles** — Electric cars never run dry and the pump will not fill them.
* **Real Fuel Use** — Vehicles burn fuel faster the harder they are driven. Some can be made thirstier than others, and you can turn it off if another script handles it.
* **Every Pump In The City** — Works on all of the game's own pumps at every gas station, with blips on the map.
* **Safe From Cheaters** — Every price, every litre and every payment is worked out again on the server. Nothing the player's game says about money is trusted.
* **One Pump At A Time** — Nobody can start a pump somebody else is already filling from, and nobody can fill two tanks at once.
* **Interaction Prompts** — Clean \[E] prompts on the pumps and the car's filler, using our ox\_lib interactions when installed.
* **Works With Your HUD** — Keeps the fuel on the vehicle where any HUD can read it, with ready-made functions for other scripts to get, set and add fuel.
* **Customisable Colours** — Easily change the pump screen colours from a simple theme file without rebuilding the interface.
* **Multi-Language Support** — Every word on the pump screen, the prompts and the messages can be translated through the locale file.
* **Framework Support** — Works with ESX, QBCore and Qbox.
* **Highly Configurable** — Configure prices, fuel grades, pump speed, tank sizes, fuel use, payment methods, hose length, the engine fire, prompt distance and much more.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://fantasy-scripts.gitbook.io/docs/gas-pumps.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
