# Compatiblity

This is ox\_inventory with a interface: a quick stash, a full stash, a BODY column for worn items, and backpacks that open with the inventory. Everything underneath is ox\_inventory, so anything written for it keeps working.

### What it needs

|                  |                                                     |
| ---------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| **ox\_lib**      | Required. Start it before ox\_inventory.            |
| **oxmysql** | Required. The inventory is stored in your database. |
| **OneSync**      | Must be on.                                         |
| **Server build** | 6116 or newer.                                      |

### Frameworks

| Framework | Setting                          |
| --------- | -------------------------------- |
| ESX       | `setr inventory:framework "esx"` |
| Qbox      | `setr inventory:framework "qbx"` |
| ox\_core  | `setr inventory:framework "ox"`  |
| ND Core   | `setr inventory:framework "nd"`  |

ESX is the default if you set nothing.

### What it will not run with

**Any other inventory.** This replaces your inventory completely. Remove qb-inventory, esx\_inventoryhud, or whatever you had, along with anything that draws its own inventory screen.

**Scripts that give items their own way.** Anything writing items straight into your framework's old inventory tables will not be seen. Scripts have to go through ox\_inventory's exports, which most already do.

### What still works

Everything ox\_inventory does: stashes, shops, crafting, drops, containers, weapons, metadata, hooks and every export. The redesign is the interface, the BODY column and backpacks — nothing was taken away.

### Colours

The colours are ox\_inventory's own, in `theme.lua` in this resource. They are deliberately **not** taken from ox\_lib, so restyling ox\_lib does not change the inventory and the other way round. See **Customising the look**.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://fantasy-scripts.gitbook.io/docs/inventory-or-quick-stash-+-body-slots-+-backpacks/compatiblity.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
